The Kalamazoo Gazette did an investigation into a proposed ICE immigration jail in Michigan. According to reports obtained from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by the Gazette, Calhoun County has submitted plans for a temporary 250-bed facility to later be replaced by a 300-bed permanent facility.
