This gathering will bring together existing universal representation projects as well as groups considering starting/supporting new programs to reflect on best practices, adapting models while seeking to end detention, and ways to expand universal representation. Certificates of attendance will be issued for accredited representatives or those seeking credit in other jurisdictions.
  • Join us for the 4th Annual National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) 5k for Immigrant Justice. There are in-person and virtual options for the race. Join us on race day, Saturday, October 29, 2022 in Goshen, Indiana at 10:30 a.m. ET for pre-race activities and 11:00 a.m. for the race; or run your favorite trail or route near you anytime during our race week through Saturday, November 5, 2022. Join community members around the country in this event to support immigrant rights and fund life-changing legal services. Having a lawyer can prevent deportation, protect families, and ensure everyone knows their rights. Your participation in this race, and any additional donation you are able to make to NIJC, will fund legal services for people, including asylum seekers and families who face separation, and community outreach and education.
