Our pro bono community sets a new record!

Within three months, 28 law firms and 6 corporations united to represent 35 asylum cases from 18 different countries!

Thank you to our partners who stepped up and continue our commitment of providing access to justice!

It's never to late to connect with a pro bono client! NIJC has more than 70 people and families on our wait list who are in need of pro bono representation. If you’re ready to join us and help change a life, here’s what you can do:

  1. An attorney with law firm support can represent a person or family seeking asylum. If you are part of a corporate in-house team, please ask a law firm partner to also join your team.
  2. Select a case. NIJC staff is available to help with case selection.
  3. Watch NIJC's recently recorded asylum training for pro bono attorneys.
  4. NIJC staff will provide expertise and technical support throughout the life of your case to help you succeed.

For more information, please contact NIJC Pro Bono Manager Ellen Miller.
