Experts from the National Immigrant Justice Center will provide an intensive training for pro bono attorneys on current asylum practices in the Chicago Immigration Court. During this training, NIJC staff will guide participants through the basics of asylum law, tips for working with asylum-seeking clients, and how to prepare and present your case. Free CLE credit is available in IL and IN. 

For legal teams that accept a case for full representation before November 29, you will receive an exclusive invitation to three brief specialized training and office hours on a.) affidavit drafting, b.) corroborating evidence and c.) briefing, between December and February 2025.
