As part of a settlement of the nationwide class-action lawsuit B.H., et al. v. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, et al. (referred to as the “ABTSettlement Agreement”), the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the U.S.Citizenship and Immigration Services agreed to change certain procedures that will affect the eligibility of some asylum applicants for employment authorization documents. This memo provides guidance on the implementation of the terms of the ABT Settlement Agreement.
