Keep families together, prevent a neighbor's deportation, and protect people seeking safety.

Both newcomers and immigrants who have lived here for decades alike are important parts of our communities in the United States. Russian asylum seekers Sergi and Timur, and former DACA recipient and teacher Maria Elena tell their stories about how having lawyers to help them navigate the U.S. immigration system led to new beginnings that changed their lives and the lives of those around them.

This short film debuted at the National Immigrant Justice Center's 19th Annual Human Rights Awards in June 2018, and was created by PRIME.
