The National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) is excited to introduce a new brand identity, one year after the organization relaunched as an independent 501(c)(3) organization recommitted to our mission of defending the rights of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
NIJC launched our new logo along with a redesigned website at immigrantjustice.org.

NIJC’s new logo highlights that Immigrant Justice has been our priority throughout our 41-year history, and will continue to be central to our identity as an independent organization. The energetic design and color scheme reflects the boldness and out-of-the-box thinking with which NIJC’s dedicated team of professionals pursue our shared goals of defending human rights and eradicating oppressive, racist, and harmful policies and practices in the immigration system.
NIJC Executive Director Mary Meg McCarthy shared her reflections on the new brand identity:
“During a time when NIJC and our communities are facing authoritarian attacks on due process and rising barriers to justice, launching a new visual identity and website is just one of the ways we are sending the message: NIJC’s commitment to immigrant justice and human rights will not be deterred. NIJC will continue to challenge inhumane policies through our direct services, policy advocacy, federal litigation, and strategic communications. We are grateful to the NIJC staff, clients, board members, pro bono partners, donors, and everyone in our community who have supported us in our new chapter as an independent organization.”
NIJC’s new brand identity and website redesign were developed in partnership with Oak Park, Illinois-based firm EDUCO.
