On June 18, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration’s termination of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was unlawful. The Court’s decision means that the DACA program continues to be available. The Trump administration may try to terminate the program again in the future, but will have to follow the procedures required by law.
