    The National Immigrant Justice Center's (NIJC) Human Rights Awards brings together a global audience to honor human rights champions and celebrate the contributions of business, civic, and community leaders. As NIJC's signature event, the Human Rights Awards provides critical funding that allows thousands of people to access life-changing immigration legal services and programs that protect immigrant rights.     This is the first part of a two-part virtual, pro bono asylum training led by experts from the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC). During this training, NIJC attorneys will provide participants with an intensive introduction to asylum law. NIJC will also provide updates and practice considerations when representing LGBTQ asylum seekers. Free Illinois and Indiana CLE credit is available.

    This is the second part of a two-part virtual, pro bono asylum training led by experts from the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC). During this training, NIJC attorneys will provide best practices for working with asylum seekers and developing supporting evidence in order to prepare strong asylum claims, as well as strategies for presenting asylum arguments before USCIS and the immigration court. NIJC will also provide practice pointers and updates relating to representation of LGBT asylum seekers. Free CLE is offered for Illinois and Indiana.
