SIJS is an important form of immigration relief for children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by a parent. This training will provide an overview of SIJS, including important updates that have taken effect this year. We will take participants step-by-step through the process for obtaining an “SIJS predicate order” from a probate or family court in Illinois.

This webinar is open to attorneys and legal advocates. CLE credit is available for attorneys who attend live and are barred in Illinois. For DOJ accredited representatives and attorneys barred in other states, NIJC will provide a certificate of attendance.
