Susana Hernandez graduated from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she developed her interest in the immigration nonprofit space by interning at organizations like The Free Migration Project and Esperanza Immigration Legal Services in Philadelphia. After graduating, she worked as a Staff Attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center on the Unaccompanied Minor’s Team. At NIJC, Susana continues her dedication to advocating for the immigrant community on the Detention Team.
