Richard has previously served as Director of Strategic Litigation at RAICES and as a litigation attorney at the Tahirih Justice Center. Before joining the immigrant-justice movement, he clerked on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and then spent several years focusing on appellate cases and administrative law. He is licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
