Monse earned her B.A. in International Politics and Economics, with a minor in Italian, from Middlebury College— her academic work centered on literary writing, human rights, and economic justice. Coming out of college, she joined the Education team at the National Museum of Mexican Art, where she connected visitors with Mexican history and culture through art-based educational programming. Guided by a lifelong connection to migration and community, she has worked with nonprofit groups in Illinois, Vermont, and Colorado. Monse is passionate about working to advance equitable access to resources and services.
