Meghan received a bachelor of science in international studies with a concentration in Latin America from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also holds a master of arts in teaching with certification from Aurora University with endorsements in English as a Second Language and bilingual education from National Louis University. She graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While a law student, Meghan interned at NIJC with the Detention Project and participated in the Loyola Immigration Practicum at the U.S.-Mexico border. Additionally, Meghan worked on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
