Maria is a Shreiber Fellow on the litigation team. Maria is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she interned at the Crimmigration Clinic, and the University of Michigan. As an attorney, she served as Assistant Regional Counsel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and clerked for United States Judge Nancy L. Maldonado at the Northern District of Illinois. She also brings federal litigation experience from her work with a Chicago-based national civil rights law firm and an environmental non-profit legal organization. Maria is licensed to practice law in Illinois and the District of Columbia.
