Jocelyn Diaz graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she dedicated her time advocating for marginalized communities through internships with the Cook County Public Defender’s Office and Cabrini Green Legal Aid. She founded the school’s Cannabis Law Society to highlight the racial inequalities embedded in drug policy and criminalization of communities of color. At NIJC, Jocelyn continues her commitment to the belief that justice must be accessible to everyone, regardless of status.
