Estefany graduated from DePaul University with a B.A. in international studies and minors in museum studies, and Latin American & Latino studies. During school, Estefany interned at WomanMade Gallery, a nonprofit art gallery dedicated to showcasing artwork made by artists who identify as women, nonbinary, femme, trans, and genderqueer. She then went on to intern at the Art Institute of Chicago where she learned how to use art to facilitate conversations around justice. After college, Estefany worked as a legal intern at Al-Hub forum to help defend Palestinian human rights.
