Eric’s interest in human rights began as an intern with the Office of the Prosecutor at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague. Prior to joining NIJC, Eric worked in private practice representing criminal defendants and family court litigants in state and federal court. Eric received his bachelor of arts in political science and Spanish from Indiana University and juris doctor from New York Law School, receiving the Lung-Chu Chen Award for Excellence in the Field of Human Rights upon commencement. In 2022, Eric was honored with NIJC’s Rising Star Award for his work as a pro bono attorney. He is licensed in New York.
