Elizabeth is originally from Michigan, where she graduated from Western Michigan University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science: Public Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a law clerk for a Michigan nonprofit organization, Migrant Legal Aid. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago – School of Law in 2026. During law school, Elizabeth was a clinical law student in the International Human Rights Clinic and interned with a private Chicago immigration firm.
