Andrea Carcamo-Cavazos

Andrea is an immigrant who brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of immigration law, policy, and advocacy. She is a self-proclaimed impact storyteller through her advocacy work, as she uses this skill to ensure humanity stays at the forefront of policy. Andrea also emphasizes in her work the need to make our laws accessible by translating complicated concepts to impacted communities.  She went to law school at American University, Washington College of Law where she discovered her love for policy work as an intern at the National Immigrant Women Advocacy Project where she currently serves as a board member.
