Amelia is originally from Michigan, where she graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor of business administration in international business and marketing and a minor in Spanish. Amelia worked as a paralegal at an immigration law firm for two years before attending law school. In 2023 she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law. After graduation and prior to joining NIJC, Amelia worked as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is licensed in Michigan.
